As I have been preparing for retirement one of the many questions I have been wrestling with has been just what will I be doing now that I am no longer a full time employed Pastor. There are many aspects of my work which I will miss. As I reflect upon those things it has become clear to me that the one thing which is central to my work has not changed. This is that I still have a passion for learning and teaching. For many years I have been engaged in intense Bible Reading, study, and meditation upon God’s Word. I have a passion for teaching and preaching which I have been given the opportunity to pursue. I have been a Bible Study leader, a teacher at the Lay Pastor’s Training Program, a preacher, and an evangelist. None of those responsibilities have ended with retirement. I will be seeking to make a new start in each of those areas in the months to come.

I am a soon to be retired pastor living on the north shore of Lake Erie. I have a passion for the Gospel and for the Church. My hope and prayer is to encourage the Church to bear witness to the LORD Jesus Christ. I have served Pastoral charges in Alvinston, Inwood, Strathroy, and Brampton over the past forty years. Now it is time for a new adventure in serving the LORD. View more posts
